Pancake breakfast, live music, vendors, and education activities for all ages! Come on Sunday the 17th to feast on wonderful pancakes catered by Luna. Breakfast will be served from 9 am - 1 pm, activities run from 10 am - 2 pm.

Presentations schedule:

  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm - Live birds program with Savannah Wilson, our Animal Education Manager. Come meet some of our native avian Animal Ambassadors and learn more about their species.
  • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Maple Tour with Dr. Brian Chabot, Professor Emeritus, Cornell University. Learn about maple sugar production and the impact of climate change on a walking tour of the Cayuga Nature Center’s maple trail with Dr. Brian Chabot. Professor Chabot is an expert on the ecology of sugar maple as a dominant forest tree species, the technologies used to produce sugar sustainably, and the future of the maple sugar industry.
  • 1:00 pm -2:00 pm - Fish of Cayuga Lake with Natalee Wrege, Manager of Aquatic Animals. Join Natalee on an exploration of Cayuga Lake’s aquatic biodiversity by observing the animals featured in our Cayuga Lake aquariums. This presentation will introduce visitors to some of the native, exotic and invasive species found in our local aquatic ecosystems. This presentation will focus on the changes that the Cayuga Lake Bioregion has endured over the 300 years and how humans have influenced these changes.

Members: $10 adult, $5 Children, Age 3 and under Free, $25 Family(up to 5 people)
Non- Members: $12 adult, $7 Children, Age 3 and Under Free, $35 Family
