Museum of the Earth to Host Evening of Natural Queeriosity

(ITHACA, NY– June 21, 2023) The Museum of the Earth is excited to announce an evening of Natural
Queeriosity on June 30th from 4:00-6:30pm. This event is open to visitors of all ages and identities and will
feature a Pride scavenger hunt, button making, coloring activities, and a social hour.

The Museum of the Earth is committed to creating a more inviting space for the queer community. This event is
part of our ongoing efforts to be an inclusive space that welcomes and celebrates all people throughout the entire
year. We believe that everyone should feel safe and comfortable exploring the natural world, regardless of their
identity.

The evening will begin with a Pride scavenger hunt throughout the museum. Participants will have the opportunity
to learn about the natural world and LGBTQ+ history as they search for clues. There will also be button making
and coloring activities for all ages.

The event will conclude with a social hour where guests can discuss all things science and queer. This is a great
opportunity to meet new people and make connections with other members of the STEM/Queer community.
